Finally bought it. Refused to read ANY of the press articles about its release worldwide to keep the suspense...

From 6.45am at the glass panel outside the bistro at the end of a long snaking queue, to 8.22am out the round glass entrance, to 8.40 at the counter, it was well worth the wait. Then off to Starbucks for a cosy 3 hour read with nice hot chocolate and caramel and would have lived the whole day there on the corner sofa if not for lunch-dinner at Gene and Wee's. Sigh...

Time to snuggle up and savour The Final Read.
